A few more seconds and
it will crystallize

It’s a special and secluded place for the solitary visitor, where only silence and whispers exist. The books aligned upon their shelves, from the large illustrated ones to the small light cover formats. Each one is handled with delicate care. They are attractive, wrapped in a transparent protection.

When the time comes for choosing which ones to take back with you, you only wish to read and comprehend them all. Within some time, these books, they begin living inside of us, even if we haven’t finished their reading. Here the mind does all the work, giving life to these words. Sometimes, attention slips away. After a few pages we’re not reading anymore, too distracted by the infinitely small reflection of the book’s diaphanous protection.

Silk, résin and white light. Variable dimensions.
Three suspensions, silk canvas partly starched. A holidays souvenir: handkerchief in fabric, slightly removed from the center of their lightening support.
